See how Catholic Family Land inspires Clergy

Make sure to watch for a very handsome Permanent Deacon in this video!

Honestly just watching these videos, my heart overflowed with the love we experienced both times we've attended a Holy Family Fest @ Catholic Family Land... during the week there, in the presence of so many parents and children TRULY doing their very best to live their faith, you are inspired. I was inspired more than ever during both Holy Family Fests we attended.

Youth at Catholic Family Land

After watching this video showing the youth at Catholic Family Land, I find myself feeling the incredible deep faith, the incredible love of Christ, and trusting that youth really do respond to the true teachings of our awesome Catholic faith.

I would encourage all Catholic families to go to a Holy Family Fest at Catholic Family Land! Parents will be inspired by the teachings they receive AND they will be deeply inspired as they see their children diving more deeply into 'their' own Catholic faith & making friends that have the same strong Catholic values.

Can most parents imagine their children beg for a vacation that each day includes Holy Mass, a rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, adoration, confession, AND Catholic teachings for their age-levels? If your family attends a Holy Family Fest, I would bet that your children would beg to return...ours did and still do! I pray we'll be going back VERY SOON!

Father Corapi's Health Video, his health & ours . . .

I had to laugh when I clicked on this video of Father Corapi -- Sometimes God's timing is HILARIOUS to me -- it seems God is using Fr. Corapi to confirm for me the importance of our newest undertaking of eating healthier & losing weight & becoming the healthiest we can possibly be.

For six weeks Pat and I have been eating healthier than we have in years so that we will lose weight and so we can be as healthy as possible -- as God intended for us. This is something we've known, but for one reason or another (frequent illnesses for me) we just did not hit the goal of becoming healthy (and losing the excess weight). I'm still far from my goal, but I'm about 1/3 there, and I find that very encouraging...and yes, I'm looking forward to a shopping spree once I hit my goal.

Enjoy this video, Father Corapi makes so much sense on why we are called to be as healthy as we can possibly be. . .

Dedication to Jesus
Lord Jesus Christ, take away my freedom, my memory, my understanding, and my will. All that I have and cherish you have given me. I surrender it all to be guided by your will. Your love and your grace are wealth enough for me. Give me these, Lord Jesus, and I ask for nothing more. Amen.
St. Ignatius Loyola (1491-1556)

St. Teresa of Avila
“For mental prayer…is nothing more than an intimate sharing between friends; it means taking time frequently to be alone with Him who we know loves us. The important thing is not to think much but to love much…Love is not great delight but desire to please God in everything.”

St. Thérèse of Lisieux
"...So I sought in holy Scripture some idea of what this life I wanted would be, and I read these words: 'Whosoever is a little one, come to me.' It is your arms, Jesus, that are the lift to carry me to heaven. And so there is no need for me to grow up; I must stay little and become less and less."

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed: the Almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his Name. He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, he has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has come to the help of his servant Israel for he has remembered his promise of mercy, the promise he made to our fathers, to Abraham and his children forever.
